Great response and comments.
I posted a comment ot two several weeks ago about having water/ice in the
tailcone - sloshing around, causing out of CG problems. I suspect that was
the cause of the on airport destruction and porposing of the coupe. Once
landed ( in warmer weather, the ice melts, and the evidence is gone.)
I had a similar thing happen to me in a Piper -140, obviously out of CG,
requireing forward trim; but I was careful to land at a higher speed, etc,
and did not suffer the bounce/bounce/crash episode that he did. After
landing, I still had about 5 Lbs (estimated) of ice in the tail cone!!!!!
Sure taught me a lesson on pre flight observation.....
