This could be anything from a 'gem in a barn' to a
'project plane' so caveat emptor. I'm just relaying
the news.

The local airport put me on to a guy who wants to sell
his Ercoupe. It's a 415C (still 75HP) with reasonably
new paint that's been hangared on his private strip.
Hasn't been flown in a couple of years, but it has been
run. Metal wings. Couldn't get the exact answer on
the swiss cheese AD. Paperwork in order as of the
last time it was annualed a couple of years back.

No radios.

Was fixed up for WW2 fighter jock and his son-in-law
to fly and so the son-in-law could get his private.

I haven't seen it, but I will some time when I'm out that
way. Sounds to me like one that would make sense
to evaluate in place, then take out on a trailer (the
strip ain't great) for more serious review.

The number I heard was $11,000, but that is probably
flexible.

Jack Delaney, 908-735-5593 is the guy to call. If someone
wants me to take a quick look for them, I will make a point
of getting out there. The plane is in Pattenburg, NJ, near
where I-78 crosses into PA.
