[COUPERS] Accident

----[Please read http://ercoupers.com/disclaimer.htm before following any advice in this forum.]---- A friend just had a mishap with his plane and while he has insurance, has not yet reported the incident.  It seems to me there is a report one can file with the NTSB or someone that once done, prohibits the FAA from messing with you.  Anyone know what that is?
