      There are lots of us NW coupers that try and get together during the
good-flying months. Look forward to meeting you and seeing your project.
       As to your question about the wing root fairing, I'll assume you are
talking about the leading edge wing root  fairing since you mentioned the
fuel tanks. This fairing is a nut and bolt on affair that can be a royal pain
in the you know what. Some folks have installed nut plates on the fuselage
but most (like me) just grin and bear it figuring that it will *never* have
to come off again.
         If you get tired of working and want to fly, lemme know...
