And Yes Paul we were witness to that event, Jim, Don, and I were
impressed.....

If you turn off the mags just allow the engine to stop spinning then
restart.  The engine will be flooded but it will restart
without dammage.  Turning the mags back on will result in a loud bang if
you
are lucky, and most likly engine dammage.

I have doen this too.  I pull the mixture lean ASAP and all the engine to
stop, then start cranking as the engine catches I push the mixture back in
full rich... for those without mixture just restart... If engine pops and
tries to die KEEP CRANKING..
this is your best insurance to not catch fire!!!
