Warren,  I took his question to refer to the bottom stiffeners only.  On
my
Forney, they are the same, a single 1/4" loop of alum. with an inch or so
hanging parallel for the plastic to slip into.  The loop isn't
symetrically
formed, the outside portion forms into the loop at a tangent, is formed
around 270 deg and then bends at a right angle to come parallel to the
other
side.  It is equivalent to half of the upper "female" piece to which you
refer.
