Hi, Well I am supposed to be getting my new ECI Classic Cast cylinder this
week. The ones I am getting are the all-new steel-barrel ones with new
pistons and rings. Everything that I ever read says to avoid ground
running
one for more than a few minutes when breaking new or rebuilt cylinders in.
Is
this true? I am a little nervous about heading right up into the wild
blue
yonder with an engine with this much work done on it with only a few
minutes
of running on there! I was thinking maybe 3-5 hours would be a good
enough
ground run. Anybody have any experience with this? Glen Ward
