Mine doesn't do it when cold, only when hot. -----Original Message----- From: Larry <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: [email protected] <[email protected]> Date: Monday, April 17, 2000 10:22 AM Subject: [COUPERS] THUNK! THUNK!
Here's a question for you tech types. While I was doing my
pre-flight inspection, I noticed the prop has a small amount of movement
forward and aft. If I grab hold of the blades and push and pull, you
can hear an audible thunk. The movement is quite small, perhaps 1/32 of
an inch. It's actually the hub that's moving. All the bolts to the
prop are tight. I can't imagine I'm actually moving the crank. What's
happening, and is this normal?
Larry
