had hit > the wing instead of the windshield. I knew a guy that hit a seagull with a lift strut on a Citabria. Bent the strut pretty bad, but he landed safely. I know another guy that caught one dead on the (metal) prop (note pun). No damage, but it was an unreal mess. All in all, I wouldn't worry about it.
