A funny story about GPS's accuracy. Not Ercoupe related other than the GPS
functionality.
A fellow I knew was leaving Victoria Harbor B.C. in a large 36'
powerboat.
He set the Autopilot which is coupled to the chartplotter/GPS for the
center
channel marker about 18 miles away. As you already guessed, he assumed
that
the GPS wouldn't be THAT accurate, but about 40 minutes later...
CLANG!!!!!!
He had red paint all down the side of his boat from the buoy. Guess you
could
say that was a instrument approach.
Oh yeah... ERCOUPES RULE!
