Coupers, The Coupe is running OK after 4.3 hr. I only had to make a minor fix on the baffles. Tomorrow should put another 3 hr. on and make me feel more
comfortable that everything is OK. I spent most of the PM today reviewing the list of 29 places the grandson wants to visit. It looks like we are going to have to make choices between stopping to see fellow Coupers, or traveling to/from National Parks/Monuments. I want to do both, but am not sure that we will have enough time. For starters, if we can pull out of here on Sat the 27th, we will be able to stop at our Ercoupe fly in at Cannon Creek. Then on to Americus, GA. After checking out Andersonville, we will head over to AL (EKY) on the 28th. If Cliff is home, I hope to talk to him for a little while about his Coupe exploits before we head on west towards Beaumont, TX on Monday. This route puts us a long way from several of you who I have met, and would like to see again. So you can see why I am torn. Anyhow, from Beaumont, and the Big Thicket, we head to the Gila Cliff Dwellings in Silver City, NM. Then to Farmington and the Aztec Ruins before going to Holbrook, AZ and the Petrified Forest. Out of there we plan to stop at Montezuma Castle and the Grand Canyon on our way to Ramona CA. I see this taking us a week or more without any side trips to visit you guys. I am going to sign off for tonight while I cogitate on how we are going to handle this dilemma.
