Buy an ANR headset. My neighbors have one for their Ercoupe, and it is amazing, yet it does not keep you from hearing all that you need to hear. Considering how expensive that insulation that the airplane places sell is, it is probably just as well to buy the headset. I was just amazed at how well it worked and I have been ruined on it, I mean I am going to have to get one for my Ercoupe to seem right again. My c model has the Skyport baggage compartment which constantly buzzes and I also get a lot of heat due to having torn the insulation out.
