FOAM...
Sporting goods store...
15 cents for the cheapies.. or go all out and get the $3.00 ones. 
Much easier to get approved and a helluvalot cheaper! also works around
the 
house, but don't tell your wife I said so.
 SERIOUSLY though...
     I found that using the covers that go under the wing (inspection
holes 
per A.D.) in the 4 holes (on each side) along the wing root really cut
down 
on noise AND draft. Also, make sure your exhaust is intact and not leaking

onto the firewall. Mine was, and it made a noticeable rumble. I have a
friend 
with a Cessna 152 that just purchased a Hush Kit from aircraft spruce or 
equivelant. Said it made a big differance, but was a pain in the back, 
expensive, and required a 337... not to mention added weight.
