Last week actor Patrick Swayze landed his twin Cessna on a street about a mile from my house here in Prescott Valley, AZ He knocked out some light poles and stop signs, shearing off about five feet of both wing tips. He reported that he had "a pressurization problem at 13,000 feet and decided to put it on the ground". Some construction workers helped Swayze out. One of them took him to his house and then later to a local hotel. Later in the evening, Swayze went to the Police Department to give a report after the cops tracked him down on his cell phone. Tonight the local paper reports the construction workers have been charged with giving false information to police. Seems other witnesses told the cops they saw the workers help Swayze remove booze from the plane. The workers fessed up and stated Swayze had blood shots eyes and slurred speech. Prescott Valley Police have turned the matter over to the FAA. Maybe we'll be hearing more soon. This news article should have hit the AP UPI wires this afternoon. Jim N87112
