The FAA has (or had) a program to do free, no risk, inspections as part of a safety program. I haven't heard much about it for sometime, but I thought it was a good idea. It wasn't widely broadcast as far as I could tell, and very few people seem to have heard of it. Do they still have that program in place, Bill?
