We've been having this on-going discussion for years in the motorcycle field. Do helmets save lives? The answer is "sometimes". Do helmets cause deaths? Sometimes. There is no conclusive proof either way. Does anyone out there think that shoulder harnesses will save your live if you come to a complete and sudden stop at 80 plus MPH? Certainly there are conditions where they will help, but there can be conditions where they could cost you your life. If you see value in them, use them. If not, don't. But let's not fight over it as no one will prove anything.
