On the members-only site, what we have now is just a starter set. We solicit any good info we can get. We have or will have: The members ads from Coupe Capers, posted within a couple days of the issue mailing to help members far from North Carolina get a more even chance at the choice buys for Coupes and parts. Some sample form 337s for certain modifications Names, phone numbers and addresses for an AI and a tech savvy member who give technical advice specifically about Coupes to EOC members. We plan to have a list of known STCs and the contact information for how to get/license them. Information solicited. We have a technical link page to help members get easy access to official, technical resources (currently empty -- suggestions, anyone?). The Coupe Mechanics section will list mechanics who've shown good knowledge of Coupes and given good service to the member(s) who recommends them. (Hopefully better than shooting wild and some of them may get recommendations worth flying hundreds of miles.) Coupe Flight Instructors will list CFIs who've been recommended by members as having enough Coupe knowledge to be able to give good flight instruction, bi-ennials, and transitional training for Coupes. We have the text of Aircraft Specifications A-718 and A-787 on the page. Many of us already have a book with these, but it's nice to have them on-line, too. There's also a link to the FAA FAR regulations, accident reports, NPRMs and much more. In the link section, we have links to the NTSB accident info; the FAA's regs, medical certification info, and lots more; major aviation groups; aviation industry companies; EOC regional groups and more. We want to get LOTS more of the official documents in the future. I have a pie-in-the-sky vision of having ALL of the Ercoupe/Aircoupe/M-10 archives available on-line someday. There's lots of information in the EOC archives at Bowling Green University and in Fred Weick's archive at Texas A & M University where he was a professor for several years. It's difficult, now, to get this info because it's hard to browse. Getting it on-line will be a really valuable long-term goal. We have some regional message boards for regional groups to communicate among themselves to coordinate events and to socialize. There's a photo album that has pictures from some Coupe gatherings. I expect there'll be lots more. There may also be photos of some parts and installations here. We'll add more as we get submissions and ideas. Hope we can make it worth your while to join the club. I already think the EOC is worth the dues, but we want to add even more value so you, too, think we're worth the cost.
