----[Please read http://ercoupers.com/disclaimer.htm before following any advice in this forum.]---- I have a very ugly piece of lead bolted to the bulkhead just inside the tailcone. The first time I removed the tailcone and saw it, I was shocked. after looking through the log book, I found the entry for installing the metal prop and removing the wood prop. It also stated that a 2 1/2 lb. lead weight was added to the tail to make up for the difference in prop weights. 2.5 lbs mounted that far aft can have a hell of a lot of effect. -----Original Message----- From: Paul Anton <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: ERCOUPE <[email protected]> Date: Thursday, October 05, 2000 8:47 PM Subject: [COUPERS] Permanant ballast
