    I met a pilot at Evergreen earlier this year that came from another
state (unnamed) that said he
made several gas stops and took on only 6 gallons each time in order to be
able to get off the ground.
When he left for home again someone else took his passenger to another
'nearby' airport that had a
longer runway so they could get up with a little more fuel on board.
