I don't know about the rest of you, but I've found that the best solution for a fast touch down, is a good set of brakes. I fully believe that I could lock them babies up if I had to. I used to fly a Colt that had little or no brakes. The runway sloped at about 5 degrees. If you were landing down hill, it sometimes got pretty iffy if you'd get stopped or not. Many's the time I was zigzagging down the runway as hard as I could to get her stopped before the 4800 ft. strip turned into sagebrush. As the end of the runway approached, I'd curse those leaky cylinders that let the brake fluid leak out. Never could get them to work right.
