----[Please read http://ercoupers.com/disclaimer.htm before following any advice in this forum.]----Louie, I installed Univair's cowl support kit, the "scalp-saver," about 2 years ago, and am very happy with it. The only time it does not work is when a strong wind is blowing from that side of the airplane, which lifts up the cowl side from the support pin and allows the cowl side to fall back down. The kit is easy to install. I think it's worth it. Syd Cohen "LOUIS G. Univair has a "cowl Support Kit" that costs a little over a hundred dollars, and I was wondering if anyone has it installed, what it consists of, and do you like it.
