To my knowledge there is no LEGAL fix for the leaky Stromberg
needle and seat condition.
The needle and seats that didn't leak are no longer legal. <g>

I too, shut off the header valve off each time or drip fuel on the
nose wheel tire that likes to swell up from such a fuel drip.

My Coupe is a 415C with a return line going to the right wing tank.
There is NO means to control fuel from draining back from the
TOP of the HEADER TANK and there would be no need unless you
parked SEVERELY UPHILL with FULL tanks.

If your lines are like mine, loss is thru the carb needle valve,
since there is no path back to the wing tank.

What can mask this obvious problem is... a NOT SO OBVIOUS LEAKING
header tank HEADER SHUTOFF VALVE.

In my previous post I mentioned that this valve needs FUEL VALVE
GREASE to be leak free! If you are dripping fuel out of the carb
with the header valve in the off position... grease the valve.

No and no.
Marvel would be the perfect carb.... if it had no recurring AD's
according to my AI.

His advice is to save the money and stick with the Stromberg.
