Hi, We just finished putting our elevator back on for the second time. You

can remove the elevator bellcrank without removing the elevator. Just
remove
the four bolts holding the bellcrank bushing blocks to the rear of the
fuselage (after you remove the tail cone). Then you can tip the bellcrank
sideways and remove the elevator cables one at a time. Make sure you mark

which cable is which. Once you have it out on the bench, changing the
bushings should be straight forward. To reinstall you will need a couple
of
1/4" bolts about 1-1/2 " long. Once you have the elevator cables hooked
back
up to the bellcrank, use the two long 1/4 " bolts to pull the whole
assembly
back into place so you can put two of the original bolts and nuts in. Once

they are snug, you can remove the long bolts and put the short ones back
in
place.
Good Luck!
