Question #3. I recently removed my instrument panel. I had to essentially remove almost all of the instruments in order to get to the locknuts that were behind and under the panel and held it to the top skin. I did not count them but there are about 24 of them on my Coupe. That meant laying on my back for several hours to strip the panel. My suggestion: install nutplates on the new panel where the nuts go. Then you can install everything (almost) and install the panel as one unit with just a few connections after it is in place. With proper consideration you could remove the screws in the future and pull the panel back to service it or a instrument without laying down. One of the biggest time savers for future maintenance. When laying out the new instruments, measure many times and cut once. Panel blanks are expensive. In my case, the maximum depth I had available was 7.25 inches. Everything has to be shorter except below the column cross arm. Richard Blair N99997 - 415D St. Marys, Ga. 4J6 [EMAIL PROTECTED]
