Have the same problem, found a missing rivet on the outlet boss of BOTH fuel tanks. Someone had installed a pop rivet and they were leaking badly. I am in the middle of a restoration and will take the tanks apart (over 200 rivets per tank) and fix the bosses. Then reassemble them. There was an article in Coupe Capers a few years ago concerning tank disassembly and repair. I figure with everything in hand, I can disassemble one tank in about an hour and after repairs put it together again with two helpers in about three hours. A good days work. The reason for three? one to rivet, one to hold the tank and one to get really messed up with the PRC sealant, I have a 14 year old grandson who is dying to help, guess who gets dirty.
