While you have the control column out, there is an AD for the (excuse me I don't have my Ercoupe stuff here at the office thus my lack of proper terminology) device at the top of the control column that the cables attach to. Replace it with a new design one. The original one had an angle that could easily break a control cable. For specific information, call Skyport. Important.
