Hi Wayne, I replaced my rubber mounts one month ago.  They  looked fine
until I
got them out, at the base of the rubber tapered mount all 4 were either
90% or
100% worn through on the bottom side presumably from the engine weight. 
The
thickness of this rubber is only
.0115", not much of an isolation from steel on steel.

My guess is if you have concerns you have metal on metal now and a
replacement
is advisable. I
