Hi, Wayne.
Don't forget that the Ercoupe engine mount is designed to cant the
motor down and to one side. This counteracts the "P-factor" and
other things that rudders were added in to correct. But new motor
rubber bushings are not a bad idea, especially on the older birds.
Rubber deteriorates with time.
Note that a liscensed mechanic is needed to return the aircraft to
service after replacing same. This involves the motor mounting, which
makes it a "major" repair.
