Greetings: I am looking at the possibility of moving to Phoenix, AZ from Tallahassee, FL. Two issues relating to my Eroupe:
1. How can I safely get the Ercoupe, 1946 model 415-C with a C-75, and a cruise prop over the hills into Phoenix. I thought about following I-10 thru El Paso to Tuscon and then into Phoenix. Is this possible? I had this plane to 8000 feet recently (9000 density) and it was all it was going to do. Any other routes? 2. If I do get the plane to Phoenix, how bad is the Arizona Department of Revenue going to hit me for moving the plane to Arizona? And, since I just paid the Florida Department of Revenue their sales tax and then some for my November purchase, can I credit taxes paid to Florida against the Arizona tax. Florida allows this.
