The advantage is in this configuration we don't need huge server to server
both of anti-virus/anti-spam (basicaly write in perl, need lot of resource)
and imap/pop server.

Well, the fact is in LSMTP (This is not LMTP=Local Mail... and LSMTP=Light
SMTP) there are not any verification the mail is just delivery. And the
purpose of LSMTP is for splitting the SMTP server and the IMAP server. 

But I'm not specialist for this, maybe I just drunk too much ;-))
