This does not agree with the syslog that you posted earlier. Your
syslog clearly showed that you compiled and installed both the authpwd
and authshadow modules.
Well, something must have gone wrong in the configure script then. I'm
trying to totally remove any trace of all courier-authlib software now
and start over again. If it still doesn't work, I'll revert my machine
to an earlier state and try again.
Check for any trailing spaces.
Already did that, none found.
