If you're using someone else's pre-built package or a build script, and have problems with it, you'll have to take it up with them. Most people around here have no idea what that pre-built package or a build script did. On the other hand, if you installed it yourself, and followed the instructions in INSTALL, then this is the place to ask questions.
The above error indicate that the package was not built correctly. Unless you resolve this problem first, trying to fix your other problems would be something that's commonly described as "chasing ghosts".
