Personally, I try to talk whoever it is still using Courier to switch to dovecot. It is soooooo much faster. The only things it is lacking is proper/full support for Shared folders (you can do it, though), Client-side ACL management - both targeted for 1.2 or thereabouts - and single-instance storage, which is also coming, targeted tentatively for 2.0.
