Hey,Recently I setup a courier-imap server to recover a Maildir from a machine that crashed.The Maildir looks like it is intact having the correct folder structures present and the correct metadate files.When I connect to the new server it lists all the subscribed folders correctly but when I try to get the contents of a folder I get:NO Unable to open this mailbox. The Maildir permissions are of the connecting user. I am not sure how to proceed with troubleshooting from here.
authtest is in the courier-authlib package, run it as root with the login id as a parameter.
# authtest mrsam
Authentication succeeded.
Authenticated: mrsam (system username: mrsam)
Home Directory: /home/mrsam
Maildir: (none)
Drop root to either the system username shown, or the numerical uid and gid
values, if so. Then, cd to the home directory then cd either to the Maildir
subdirectory, or whatever's shown in Maildir here. One of these cds will
fail and you will know where to look further.
