Hi,

I've read in previous postings that the default for where Courier-IMAP
looks for users' Maildirs is /home/${local_part}/Maildir and it would be
nice to have an option to change that.

It seems that the authmysql allows to configure: "MYSQL_MAILDIR_FIELD -
name of the field containing a non-default location of the account's
system mailbox (optional)."

I would like to change the path for a user's mailbox to something like
/var/spool/a/b/abcd ( /var/spool/[1st letter]/[2nd letter]/[username] )
while using the authpwd module.

It seems to me that this can be done by modifying authlib/authpwd.c, but i
am not a very good C programmer. Is theire anyone who has done this
before or is willing to help me with this one ?

Sincerely,
Jos
