i can presumably get rid of the errors by doing: jazz [~]% ssh zugzug exec "/etc/rimapd 2> /dev/null Maildir" * PREAUTH Ready. presumably this will use the user's shell, so if the user has a c-related shell, putting the '2> /dev/null' in the ssh-command won't work; i guess i could do something to execute 'sh' first..... > 2) As you can see, starting imapd this way will make it come up in > preauthenticated state.
