Sorry about all the garbage.  Havent found a better mail client for
microcrap window$ but am woking on a better alternative but have fixed the
html problem by setting emails to plain text only and setting wrapping to 60
charc.  I will check on the system clock as well and I am quite sure that I
haven't touched any of the configure files outside of the ./configure
command.
I'll let you know if I get any luck when trying the process again.
