Funny thing.
I was just trying to build 0.39.3 from source tonight with this
configure line:
./configure --prefix=/mailserver \
--with-db=gdbm \
--with-shellpath=/mailserver/bin:/bin:/usr/bin \
--enable-utf7-folder-encoding \
--enable-unicode --enable-https > configure.log1 &
on a debian box, and I had the exact same problem listed above.
So, for S&G I tried it against the debian source package, and it
worked.
Then I tried it against the .orig.tar.gz package that shows up with
the debian package, and F***n A it worked.
So I tried it with courier-0.38.2 and it worked.
Hmmm...
Then I noticed that .40 was out.
Yup, it worked. Dunno what is wrong with .39.3.
