For a small site there will be no practical performance impact. For a large (1000+ ? users) site, I can imagine a performance impact due to the increase in open ressources. The more concurrent connections, the more ressources... Actually, some versions of OE more or less require maybe MAXPERIP 8-10 if users do drag'n'drop between folders. MAXPERIP = 15 doesn't bother my installation with some 50 clients on a Celeron 433 and 64MB ram, but it probably won't be good for a large site. -- Kind regards / venlig hilsen, Mogens Valentin, Mr Dev IT Networking, Security, Server Setup http://www.mrdev.com [EMAIL PROTECTED] Phone +45 32 525 878 Cell 51 227 668 _______________________________________________________________ Don't miss the 2002 Sprint PCS Application Developer's Conference August 25-28 in Las Vegas -- http://devcon.sprintpcs.com/adp/index.cfm _______________________________________________ courier-users mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] Unsubscribe: https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/courier-users
