Hi,

Courier doesn't deliver any messages to root, it forwards to postmaster 
instead as you can see in the log file.
You can solve the problem to make an alias for the postmaster, or directly for 
the root in $COURIER/etc/alisases/system file. I made an alias for the 
postmaster what works fine. (You can use an other file for this alias in this 
directory, see man 8 makealiases.) Don't forget to run 
$COURIER/share/makealiases after any modification in the file.
