Hello all!

First post! (please be gentle) :)

I've been running courier-imap for a while on several machines, but
recently found a tutorial that says you should really be using "authpam"
as the authmodule of choice. Upon researching the "PAM" thing, I found
that everyone says to use it, but no-one really explains how... :(

I've been trying to get the latest version of c-imap to compile on a
Libranet (debian based) box, but it's never implementing the authpam
module itself... :(

I'm not sure what to do, as I've specified "with-authpam,
with-authdaemon, etc" and I've made sure my linker is setup w/ all
libraries and ran ldconfig to make sure it's up-to-date. It compiles
the authdaemon authuserdb auththis and auththat, but never authpam...

Can someone explain why and how to fix it?

Thanks!!!
