Yes, this is basically the run-around I've gotten from them - that Courier 
doesn't support Discard.

I just turned off the entire system until I had time to sort through 
everything.  We're only demoing it at the moment, anyway.

I am positive the 500 reply is going out, and normally them attempting to 
redeliver ad nausem wouldn't be a problem except RAV isn't really rejecting 
the messages - it continues to deliver them and then tells courier to tell 
the remote server they were rejected.  Which results in hideously broken SMTP 
servers to keep resending, because, <sarcasm>after all, a 500 is a "Please 
spam me some more" message, right?</sarcasm>

I tried that, but it turns out one of my users actually WANTED to messages.
