> > What is it's current rate, and what are you using for > MAXDELS? I've adjusted module.esmtp to: NAME=esmtp PRIORITY=50 PROG=./courieresmtp MAXDELS=500 MAXHOST=75 MAXRCPT=100 LIBRARY=librewrite.la I'm not sure how to figure out my queuelo/queuehi/etc. > > How 'expensive' are your local deliveries (do you use > smapassassin, etc..)? These are 99% forwarded messages... IOW, message comes in, runs through a default maildrop script which runs an external program that spits out a forwarding address. It's not at all expensive, the external program is a very simple and light perl lookup program. > > Have you considered temporarily disabling incoming smtp? Yes! How exactly can I do that? As long as courier can continue chewing through the mailq and send out all the queued up outgoing mail, I have no problem temporarily shutting down the incoming smtp. I'm just not sure how to do that. Ricardo ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: SF.net Giveback Program.
