Why do you expect that? If they were going to do that, they would've done that already. Port 587 is not a new invention. It's been here for a while.

The justification for blocking port 25 is to prevent their customers from hijacking open relays, and having to deal with the resulting complaints. By definition, port 587 requires authentication, and cannot be hijacked.
