the host name of the machine is freeway.serversure.net and this has been set in /etc/courier/default.domain and /etc/courier/locals
could someone please explain why this message has relaying denied. do i have to add the domain to esmtpacceptmail.for/domains?

i thought that local machine emails would be accepted by default?
No. It may be helpful to move the "locals" file to esmtpacceptmailfor.dir and make a symlink from etc/courier/locals to etc/courier/esmtpacceptmailfor.dir/local.
