You can do that, of course, but this will break DSNs (since the DSN will now be reported for an address that's not the same that the address the message was sent to originally).
You should probably be trying to modify courier/module.local/local.c, which is the code that deals with local addresses.
However some changes might also be necessary in submit too, but only to the extent of handling the [EMAIL PROTECTED]: userâ virtual alias, so that [EMAIL PROTECTED] will now be rewritten as âuser+addressâ.
