Hi all,

as you might already know, I wrote Courier::Filter[1], a purely Perl-based
modular mail filter framework for Courier.

C:F is already available from CPAN, but so far has not been accepted into
the official module list[2] (and therefore into the CPAN module
directory[3]) because the modlist maintainers think the name
"Courier::Filter" is too generic and they asked me to add a "Mail::"
prefix.

I don't really agree, since except from the Courier MTA there isn't really
any widely-known software bearing the name "Courier". I argued with them
and pointed out the existence of the popular "Apache::" and "Sendmail::"
top-level namespaces, but haven't managed to change their mind.

Now there are two options: keep the name "Courier::Filter" and have C:F
missing from the official modlist and the CPAN module directory, or change
the name to "Mail::Courier::Filter", which makes some module names awfully
long ("Mail::Courier::Filter::Module::DNSBL"), especially when used in
C:F's config file.

I'm undecided on what to do, so I thought I'd ask you about what you think
should be done?
