Well, I agree with you that adding the "Mail::" prefix will make things
too long and cumbersome.  But if the CPAN folks disagree, what can we
do?

As much as I am in favor of keeping the "Courier::Filter" name, I'd
rather see the package in CPAN than to have it be absent just because of
not wanting to rename it.

So if the powers that be in CPAN don't relent, I will end up going by
the precept "When in Rome, do like the Romans."

But I will support you in fighting for the current name, at least until
it's apparent that the battle will have been unequivocally lost.
