New wrinkle. Apparently it's authorizing just fine, but I get this
message from syslog:

Jul  2 18:10:21 <host> pop3d: Connection, ip=[::ffff:127.0.0.1]
Jul  2 18:10:27 <host> pop3d: chdir "": No such file or directory

I have this line in my authldaprc:

LDAP_GLOB_UID           courier
LDAP_GLOB_GID           courier
LDAP_HOMEDIR            homeDirectory

Should I replace "homeDirectory" with an absolute path to the mail
directories? The home directory for the user "courier" is the intended
maildir tree. I have no "home directory" entry in my LDAP server (it's
the Netscape4 LDAP server provided with the Solaris8 installation CD
set).
