By default, Courier looks for the user's Maildir in $HOME/Maildir. 
Courier is finding the user's home directory now, but you haven't created
the Maildir.  If you prefer to name it something else like mailbox, mail,
etc.  Then edit /etc/courier/authldaprc and uncomment LDAP_MAILDIR and set
it to what you prefer.  Create the Maildir like this:

maildirmake /u2/mail/courier/Maildir
chown -R courier.courier /u2/mail/courier/Maildir/
